The Reacta Healthcare challenge meals are currently used to diagnose and monitor food allergy in numerous global therapeutic trials. Reacta Healthcare is responding to the rapidly evolving food allergy environment, future plans include expansion into niche areas of food allergen innovation beyond challenge meals.
The Opportunity:
The Business Development Manager within the Innovation Business Stream at Reacta Healthcare will be responsible for supporting the Chief Innovation Officer and the wider C-Suite with the identification and exploitation of emerging commercial opportunities both inside and outside of Reactas current sector.
This role involves strategic planning, market analysis, competitive landscape analysis, business development and cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development strategies. The Business Development Manager (Innovation) will play a crucial role in shaping the market for new products, generating business intelligence, and contributing to the overall business strategy.

Strategic Planning & Market Analysis:
Current Markets
Establish a comprehensive understanding of the competitive landscape within Reactas current markets by analysing the latest trends and innovations in the food allergy space. This includes:
+ staying up-to-date with the latest industry trends and best practices to understand customer needs and competitor activities;
+ tracking the progress of current/new clinical trials and the emergence of new entrants offering well-characterised and standardised solutions;
+ identification of potential gaps in the market Monitor the impact of regulatory changes, particularly those implemented by the FDA, [the MHRA & the Paul Erlich Institute] on the overall market dynamics.
Utilise insights gathered from market research to identify emerging opportunities to stay ahead of the competition in Reactas current markets.
Make recommendations to the Chief Innovation Officer and the wider C-Suite regarding required adjustments to Reactas short term, medium term and long range business planning within current markets.
New Markets* Leverage primary research to inform future addressable market and evolving use of OFC with new therapeutic approvals and market authorisation.
Identify opportunities for leveraging Reactas platform technology to develop new solutions for [entirely] new markets with strong value propositions.
Business Development:
Current & New Markets* Develop a robust network that supports the company's objectives and enhances its market presence both through regular 1-2-1 contact and through attendance at key global conferences and events.
Assist the Chief Innovation Officer and the C-Suite to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders, including key opinion leaders (KOLs), partners, and industry contacts, to foster collaboration and drive business growth within Reactas in current markets and new markets.
Identify and implement approved Go To Market (GTM) strategies for new markets (e.g. the identification/set up of commercial relationships with potential distribution or channel partners)
Cross-functional Collaboration:
Work closely with other departments, such as manufacturing, sales, and product development and new product introduction, to ensure alignment and effective execution of business development strategies.
Collaborate with internal teams to understand their needs and develop solutions that meet customer requirements.

Required
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field; MBA preferred.
