We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. Duties
Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and outreach programmes.
Develop and implement strategic plans to increase sales and market share.
Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients whilst seeking new prospects.
Prepare compelling proposals and presentations tailored to client needs.
Collaborate with marketing teams to create targeted campaigns that support business growth.
Utilise CRM software, including Salesforce, to track leads, manage customer information, and monitor sales pipelines.
Analyse market trends and competitor activities to identify potential areas for expansion.
Attend industry events, conferences, and meetings to promote the organisation's services and brand presence.
Provide regular reports on sales performance, pipeline status, and strategic initiatives to senior management.
Requirements
Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within a similar industry sector.
Strong proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce; experience with other CRM tools is advantageous.
Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to build rapport quickly.
Organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
Strategic thinker with a proactive attitude towards identifying opportunities and solving problems.
Demonstrable track record of achieving or exceeding sales targets.
A recognised qualification in business administration, marketing or related fields is desirable but not essential.
