We're looking for a driven, strategic Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Shine Business Solutions.
This role is pivotal in driving growth and expanding our market presence across our core solutions:
Managed Print Services, Document Management, and Smart Locker Systems

The ideal candidate will have a proven background in B2B sales and business development, with a sharp eye for opportunity, a talent for building strategic relationships, and the ability to craft tailored, solution-led proposals. You'll lead go-to-market strategies, manage key client accounts, and work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless execution of business objectives.
Responsibilities:
Identify and secure new business opportunities across Managed Print Services, Document Management Solutions, and Smart Locker Systems.
Develop and execute outbound strategies including cold calling, lead generation, and prospecting.
Prepare and deliver proposals, tenders, and presentations tailored to client needs.
Build and maintain strong relationships with both new and existing clients.
Coordinate smooth handovers to operations once contracts are secured.
Support retention plans and upsell strategies based on client insights.
Maintain accurate records and forecasts using Pipedrive CRM.
Track key metrics and generate weekly/monthly sales performance reports.
Monitor competitor activity and market trends to inform strategy.
Work closely with marketing to align messaging, campaigns, and materials.
Support the creation of sales collateral, case studies, and social media content.
Represent our company at industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings.

Experience:
Proven experience in sales, business development, marketing, or growing a service-based offering.
Confident managing a sales pipeline and building strong relationships with clients, funders, or partners.
Experience developing and executing strategic plans to drive growth.
Involved in marketing activities such as social media, email campaigns, or brand promotion.
Comfortable working with financial information, including budgets and reports.
Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt style across different audiences.
Excellent interpersonal skills with a natural ability to build and maintain long-term relationships.
Must hold a valid full UK driving licence.
Desirable:
Experience writing proposals, tender submissions, or bids.
Knowledge of using a variety of marketing tools.
Understanding of inclusive marketing or communication approaches.
Background or familiarity with the office print, document management, or workplace technology industry.

Competitive Package
