We are seeking candidates with experience in modular construction, construction, building services, modular buildings, or construction supply companies. This is a Business Development Manager role, operating as an individual contributor. The company is a growing modular housing firm focused on delivering high-quality, efficient, and sustainable modular building solutions.
They support clients from initial enquiry through to project completion, providing both strong service and innovative construction approaches.

The purpose of this role is to drive new business growth by managing inbound customer enquiries, identifying new commercial opportunities, and supporting projects from initial concept through to completion.
The Business Development Executive will act as a key point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication, accurate project scoping, and the smooth progression of opportunities within the modular construction sector.

Lead Management & Qualification
Follow up on inbound leads generated through the Client's website and marketing channels.
Understand customer goals, technical requirements, budgets, and timeframes.
Qualify enquiries and prepare detailed project briefs for internal review.

Project Scoping & Coordination
Gather full project scope information from clients.
Work closely with the estimating and technical teams to prepare quotations and proposals.
Assist in coordinating project timelines and requirements from concept to delivery.

Client Relationship & Account Management
Act as the main point of contact throughout the full project lifecycle.
Maintain strong communication with clients, ensuring clarity, satisfaction, and professional support at every stage.
Provide updates, resolve queries, and ensure smooth project progression.

Outbound Business Development
Conduct outbound calls using internal lead databases to identify new opportunities.
Engage with architects, developers, contractors, landowners, and other industry partners.
Set up meetings, build relationships, and generate new business opportunities for the Client.

Site Visits & Feasibility Checks
Conduct on-site surveys to gather information, assess feasibility, and support accurate project scoping.
Report findings clearly to internal teams.

Networking & Brand Representation
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking functions as required.
Promote the Client's brand, capabilities, and modular solutions to relevant stakeholders.

Internal Collaboration
Work closely with leadership, technical, and project teams to support business growth.
