Job Summary


We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role requires strategic thinking, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to market expansion. The Business Development Manager will utilise CRM software such as Salesforce to manage leads and track progress effectively, ensuring a seamless sales process from prospecting to closing deals.

Responsibilities



Develop and implement strategic plans to identify and secure new business opportunities in target markets. Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders to foster business growth. Conduct market research to stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities. Present compelling proposals and pitches to prospective clients, demonstrating the value of our products/services. Collaborate with marketing and sales teams to develop targeted campaigns that maximise outreach efforts. Manage the sales pipeline using CRM software such as Salesforce, ensuring accurate tracking of leads, opportunities, and follow-ups. Negotiate contracts and close deals efficiently while maintaining favourable terms for the organisation. Attend industry events, conferences, and networking functions to promote our brand and expand professional contacts. Analyse sales data and prepare reports for senior management to inform strategic decision-making.

Experience



Proven track record in business development or sales roles within a similar industry. Experience working with CRM software such as Salesforce or other CRM platforms. Strong understanding of sales processes, lead generation techniques, and client relationship management. Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans that result in measurable business growth. Exceptional communication and negotiation skills with a professional demeanour. A proactive attitude with the ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Candidates should possess a recognised qualification in business administration, marketing, or related fields is advantageous but not essential if complemented by relevant experience.

Pay: 38,600.00-38,610.00 per year
