What you will enjoy doing
This is a new exciting opportunity to join our Sales team in which you will have the chance to make a real difference and participate in the growth and part we can play in decarbonisation and clean energy
In this role, you will specifically look after our hydrogen packaged gas products and hydrogen fuel cell generator, HYMERA
You will contribute to the medium to long term business strategy of these products, ensuring required levels of product stewardship are in place and using your skills and knowledge to identify new opportunities
You will work closely with our retail stores across the country, as the main route to market, to ensure the stores are able to provide the technical support and product knowledge to our customers
As somebody who is passionate about clean energy, you will be responsible for winning new customers, making sure they are given the right support they need and growing their confidence with our hydrogen products
This role also gives you the great opportunity to attend trade shows and events where you will represent BOC, build your network, and identify new opportunities
And lastly, you will develop, nurture, and maintain relationships built with prospect customers within the hydrogen world as well as collaborate with colleagues across the wider sales team and BOC
What makes you great
You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative approach and the ability to influence others whilst develop positive relationships
Good personal effectiveness skills with the self-motivation and passion to deliver great results
In addition, you are passionate about decarbonization and clean energy
You have a good level of commercial acumen
Furthermore, you have experience and are motivated to seek and close new business opportunities
If you have a basic understanding of hydrogen production, storage, and transportation this would be highly beneficial for this role And lastly, this role is field based so has an element of flexibility, but you will have a base at our North-West Hub in Worsley, Manchester and be required to travel to this hub for meetings as required
