Position Overview
We are seeking a results-driven and strategic
Business Development Manager
to drive sales growth, develop new business opportunities, and expand our market presence in the pest control industry. The ideal candidate will have strong B2B and B2C sales experience, a proven track record of meeting targets, and an understanding of service-based business operations.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Revenue Growth
Identify and pursue new business opportunities across residential, commercial, and industrial sectors.
Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed revenue targets.
Generate leads through networking, cold calling, referrals, and strategic partnerships.
Client Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing customers.
Conduct presentations, site visits, and proposals to secure contracts.
Ensure high levels of client satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.
Market Research & Strategy
Analyze market trends, competitors, and industry developments to identify growth opportunities.
Work with the marketing team to create targeted campaigns and promotional activities.
Operational Collaboration
Coordinate with service teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service delivery.
Provide feedback to improve service offerings based on client needs and market demands.
Reporting & Analysis
Maintain accurate sales records and provide regular reports on pipeline activity and performance.
Track KPIs, conversion rates, and client feedback to refine sales strategies.
Qualifications
Required:
Proven experience in business development, sales, or account management (pest control, facilities management, or related service industry preferred).
Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Valid driver's license and willingness to travel for client visits.
Preferred:
Knowledge of pest control services, compliance requirements, and industry best practices.
Proficiency in CRM systems and MS Office Suite.
