Night and Day Renewable Energy Ltd is seeking a dynamic, commercially driven
Business Development Manager
to join our expanding team. This full-lifecycle sales role is responsible for converting qualified inbound leads, conducting assessments, managing customers through each stage of the buying journey, and closing final design meetings.
You will combine strategic business development with hands-on customer engagement to generate profitable revenue and support the company's continued growth across Yorkshire and surrounding counties.
Key Duties & ResponsibilitiesBusiness Development & Revenue Growth
Develop and execute structured strategies to convert qualified inbound leads into completed heat pump installation contracts.
Progress customers through each stage of the sales pipeline, ensuring all required steps are completed effectively and professionally.
Attend system design meetings to present recommendations, address customer questions, and secure final approvals.
Identify opportunities for additional value and increased conversion within the pipeline.
Customer Engagement & Relationship Management
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers from initial enquiry through to final agreement.
Provide clear, transparent advice aligned with Night and Day Renewable Energy's quality-first ethos.
Conduct virtual and in-person home assessments across Yorkshire and surrounding counties.
Market & Product Insight
Keep informed of industry trends, competitor activity, government schemes, and emerging technologies.
Feed insights back into the business to support strategic planning and continuous improvement.
Sales Process & Pipeline Management
Manage the full sales lifecycle using our industry-leading CRM system, ensuring every customer journey is updated and accurately logged.
Prepare tailored proposals, documentation, and follow-up communication, supported by the Sales Administration team.
Monitor personal performance metrics, conversion rates, and pipeline value, producing regular reports for senior management.
Networking & Representation
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and networking forums to represent the company and generate new opportunities.
Act as a professional ambassador for the Night and Day Renewable Energy brand.
Qualifications & Experience Required
Minimum
3 years professional sales experience
, ideally consultative or field-based.
Minimum
2 years renewable energy or heat pump industry experience
(essential).
Proven ability to manage a full end-to-end sales process.
Strong proficiency with CRM software (Go High Level, Salesforce, HubSpot, etc.).
Excellent communication, negotiation, and customer-engagement skills.
Strong organisational and pipeline-management capability.
Proactive, results-focused, and commercially minded.
Full UK driving licence.

Base Salary
30,000 basic salary
Uncapped Tiered Commission Structure
72,000 OTE
