Position overview: We are seeking a highly driven, entrepreneurial Senior Business Development Manager to expand and grow our Retail & Consumer Goods customer portfolio, with a strong focus on partnership and joint go-to-market (GTM) with Google Cloud Practice. The primary market to be covered by this role is UK (and the rest of EMEA), with coverage of North American market also in scope, to the extent his/her bandwidth will allow. This is a senior individual contributor role with responsibility for new logo acquisition and the strategic account development, in partnership with GCP. In addition to leading our business development efforts, you will serve as the primary bridge between DataArt's sales and delivery teams and GCP field, industry and partner teams. The ideal candidate will have deep industry knowledge of Retail & Consumer Goods, strong background in technology services, robust understanding of the GCP ecosystem and proven success with hyperscaler or other technology partnerships. This is a hybrid role, requiring regular presence in DataArt's London office as well as onsite engagement with partners and customers.


Responsibilities: Lead GCP partnership in the Retail & Consumer Goods vertical across the UK and EMEA Drive new business development in Retail & Consumer Goods Execute regional and vertical GTM strategies Champion the development of industry solutions with a Retail focus Support account collaboration with GCP field and partner teams Own and grow strategic GCP partner and customer relationships in the UK, and EMEA Retail sector Build regular engagement with GCP Partner Development Managers, Partner Sales Managers, Sales Leaders, Account Executives, Solution Architects, and industry specialists to align priorities and drive joint customer success Represent DataArt at GCP briefings, industry events, and sponsorships to strengthen market positioning Independently drive new logo acquisition and identify new revenue streams through GCP partnerships Develop and execute localized GTM strategies and campaigns tailored to Retail & Consumer goods sub-segments (e.g., online, land-based, game development, affiliate marketing, payments) Lead targeted GTM initiatives including campaigns, events, webinars, and thought leadership content Champion co-marketing and co-selling with GCP, building industry solutions (IP) that address priority use cases and pain points Collaborate with DataArt Engagement Managers and GCP teams to co-sell GCP-related services into strategic client accounts Leverage GCP funding programs, technical resources, and co-selling motions to unlock new opportunities Coach internal teams on activating GCP influence within client accounts and track pipeline development


10+ years of professional experience, including 7+ years in business development, partner management, or sales leadership in IT services Strong background in the Retail & Consumer goods industry, with understanding of its ecosystem, players, and technologies (e.g., online, land-based, sportsbooks, exchanges, affiliate marketers, operators) Experience working with international or globally distributed sales and delivery teams, including Central & Eastern Europe Solid working knowledge of technology delivery and professional services Proven channel experience with hyperscalers or major technology providers, with a focus on co-marketing and co-selling


Nice to have: Direct experience working with the GCP ecosystem and using GCP as a sales/GTM channel * GCP Cloud Practitioner certification and/or GCP Sales accreditations
