Job Description

The Business Development Manager will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities within the industrial and manufacturing sector in Yorkshire and the North. This role requires a proactive individual with a strong understanding of sales and client relationship management.

  • Identify and develop new business opportunities within Scotland and the North East.
  • Maintain and grow relationships with existing clients to ensure long-term satisfaction.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve company targets in the industrial and manufacturing sector.
  • Conduct market research to identify trends and potential business prospects.
  • Prepare and deliver effective presentations and proposals to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client needs are met effectively.
  • Provide regular sales forecasts and reports to senior management.
  • Represent the company at industry events and networking opportunities to enhance visibility.

A successful Business Development Manager should have:

  • Proficiency in using CRM systems and other sales tools.
  • A self-motivated and results-driven approach to work.
  • A valid driving licence and willingness to travel within Yorkshire and the North.
