We're now looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join our team covering the East region of England. You will play a pivotal role in increasing sales of specific product ranges across your region. You'll be responsible for winning new business, developing existing customers, and driving demand for SIG IDL and wider group solutions.



This is a proactive, high-impact sales role that requires strong commercial awareness, excellent relationship-building, and the ability to spot and convert opportunities in a fast-paced environment



What you'll be doing:

Drive sales growth across our Insulation & Dry Lining product portfolio, achieving area sales targets and supporting market penetration. Identify, target, and develop new customer opportunities across key market sectors. Manage and grow key accounts, strengthening long-term customer relationships. Deliver sales budgets and work with branches to agree pricing strategies that support both sales and margin growth. Collaborate with key suppliers to facilitate training sessions for contractors and SIG colleagues. Monitor and review sales and margin performance, addressing shortfalls and highlighting opportunities. Produce accurate, high-quality sales reports and maintain up-to-date CRM data.


What we're looking for:

Proven track record of delivering sales growth and achieving financial targets Strong business, commercial and financial acumen Effective sales experience with knowledge of best practice processes and tools Excellent Excel skills and confidence producing high-quality reports Strong understanding of project tracking and the construction build process Exceptional communication and presentation skills Ability to work independently and as part of a wider team Confidence engaging with stakeholders at all levels Strong attention to detail, problem-solving ability, and a can-do approach IT literacy (emails, CRM, reporting systems) Full UK driving licence
