We're now looking for an ambitious and proactive
Business Development Manager
to join our Team. If you thrive on winning new business, creating long-term relationships, and taking a strategic approach to growth, this is an exciting opportunity to make a real impact in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial business.
What You'll Be Doing:
Actively identify and engage potential clients across key sectors using a multi-channel outreach strategy
Generate new leads through multiple channels, customer visits, email campaigns and industry networking
Develop tailored proposals and presentations to address client needs and project requirements
Support tender submissions, bid writing, and pricing coordination with internal teams
Manage your pipeline through the CRM, tracking and prioritising opportunities
Reactivate dormant accounts and expand existing customer relationships
Conduct client site visits, stakeholder mapping, and discovery meetings
Provide weekly/monthly reporting on performance and market feedback
Stay informed on competitor activity, industry trends, and business opportunities
Collaborate with marketing and internal teams to support campaigns and ensure smooth handovers
Manage and support the Inbound Sales Executive to ensure lead follow-up and conversion
What We're Looking For:
Minimum 2 years of experience in B2B sales or business development
Proven track record of lead generation and converting new business
Confident communicator with strong networking and presentation skills
Experience writing commercial bids and proposals
Highly organised with attention to detail and excellent time management
Familiarity with the construction, infrastructure, or industrial services sectors (preferred)
Experience using CRM systems
Full UK driving licence (travel required)
