Business Development Manager
to join our expanding sales team, focusing on fire and security system installations. This is a fantastic opportunity based out of the
Bromsgrove office
for a motivated sales professional to shape and grow our client base, delivering high-quality solutions to sectors including commercial, industrial, retail, education, and healthcare.
What you receive for joining us:
We offer a competitive salary between
40,000 and 50,000 per annum
, depending on experience, with an attractive commission structure, company car or allowance, and strong earning potential. You'll also benefit from 25 days' holiday plus bank holidays, pension scheme, and access to ongoing professional development.
Here's a look at some of the things you'll be doing:
Identifying and pursuing new business opportunities for fire and security installation projects across a diverse portfolio of sectors including commercial, healthcare, and education
Generating and managing leads through networking, referrals, cold outreach, and market insight, while presenting tailored system proposals and quotations to clients
Conducting site surveys and working with internal technical teams to ensure your solutions meet both client needs and installation feasibility requirements
Building strong, lasting relationships with decision-makers while achieving sales targets and reporting on pipeline, activity, and forecasts to the senior leadership team
Can you show experience in some of these areas?
Proven B2B sales success in the fire and security industry, with sound technical understanding of fire alarms, intruder detection, CCTV, and access control systems
Confident communicator and negotiator, able to present clearly and build trust with key stakeholders
Familiarity with relevant industry standards such as BS5839 and BS6266 and capable of interpreting client requirements into compliant, effective proposals
Experience using CRM systems, preparing forecasts, and working collaboratively with internal teams from design through to delivery
