What will this role achieve?
The Business Development Manager will have full ownership of the Tesco Cake P&L worth c.13m Net Sales and directly managing the One Stop account worth 5.3m Net Sales.

The hard working UK Sales Team at pladis employs approximately 150 people across functions including account management, category management and customer marketing. The Team coordinates the delivery of the commercial budgets across the UK, split into three channels: Grocery; Convenience & Impulse; and Discounters.Working Pattern: Chiswick Park -> Fully Remote. Employees are not expected in the office on any specific days, but Chiswick is their contractual place of work, and they're required to self-travel into the office for meetings whenever vital, but that there are no set days of each week that they're encouraged to be in by default.
What will be your key deliverables?Full end to end Account Management of Tesco: Cake, & One Stop Branded Business
Land business targets on Net Sales and Profit
Confer and agree the annual JBP on both Cake and One Stop with monthly tracking and communication internally and with the customer ensuring there is a recovery plan if supervising off plan.
Supervise and hold Tesco & One Stop to account on key business targets including OSF, share of space, distribution & value share.
Be responsible for the contact strategy with buyers on a weekly basis and ensuring the full year plans is implemented.
Ensuring all customer promotional plan and admin is completed on time and in full.
Raise the profile of Tesco Cake strategy internally and to ensure pladis continue to support their agenda profitably.
Own the sales forecast and ensure the forecast accuracy is met to business targets.

Top 4 FMCG experience
Working autonomously and as part of a team towards business set targets
Strong problem solving and solution orientated
Logical mind and eye strong for detail
Good financial and commercial ability
Excellent Excel, PowerPoint & presentation skills
DesirableFMCG experience
Experience of managing Tesco, but not essential
Experience in Impulse categories
Branded experience (as opposed to Retailer Brand)
