JOB PURPOSE
To develop the defined market for the Topcon Utilities solutions portfolio supporting the local and regional sales efforts of our direct and distribution sales channels with sales expertise and expert industry knowledge.
CORE JOB DUTIESManage and develop the Utilities business area with respect to all sales activity across the defined region
Work to support the sales efforts of the local Topcon sales teams as well as those of our nominated Utilities distributors.
Develop a strategy and approach to improve the Utilities solutions knowledge of all sales personnel from Topcon and our Distributors in your region.
Support the expansion of TopNET Live to get new business areas offering subscriptions.
Support the sales personnel with technical and commercial expertise in negotiation and demonstration scenarios across your region
Collaborate with all key internal stakeholders to maximize market share and to fulfil customers' needs
Identify strategic partnerships with other organisations or institutions to leverage their existing networks. Propose ideas to senior management for possible collaboration including software partners and other channels
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education & ExperienceTrained in all areas of selling and sales management.
Proven experience in selling products & services directly to end-users and via third party distributors
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Understanding of the variable market pressures relating to sales
Strong strategic thinking coupled with daily operational delivery of strategy
Knowledge, Skills & AttributesA technical expert in all aspects of Utilities and the indus-try sector with experience of working with multiple soft-ware platforms related to asset collection and manage-ment.
You will have a broad network of contacts that you can leverage to optimise and maximise the Topcon presence in the Utilities market.
* You will have extensive experience of preparing and delivering technical and sales presentations in various forums.
