The Role
We're seeking a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead growth across our aggregate production and restoration scheme. Based out of Wick Quarry with field-based flexibility, the role focuses on securing new clients, expanding existing accounts, and boosting market share. You'll be instrumental in shaping our commercial direction, improving customer experience, and driving sustainable revenue.
Key responsibilities:
Develop and implement a growth-focused sales strategy, tracking and reporting on KPIs to evaluate sales effectiveness and adjust strategies accordingly
Identify market trends and propose new product/service offerings to increase aggregate sales
Build relationships with contractors, developers, and commercial clients
Represent MJ Church at industry events and networking forums
Collaborate across departments to enhance service delivery and margin
Support CRM development and customer retention initiatives
Mentor colleagues, promoting product knowledge and a high-performance culture
Who you are
You're a natural relationship builder with a deep understanding of the aggregates and muckaway sector. You'll bring a proven track record in business development, strong local market knowledge, and a consultative approach to sales. You're commercially savvy, confident communicating at all levels, and passionate about delivering value to clients.

Salary range: 45,000 to 60,000 plus commissions
