Job Title: Business Development Manager - Well Intervention (Europe)

Regional Manager - Europe (Well Intervention)
Nature of the Position: Permanent, Full Time
Location: Portlethen, Aberdeen
Role Overview:
This role forms part of the European Well Intervention Management Team and is responsible for driving revenue growth across both equipment sales and rental product lines. The position involves close collaboration with commercial, rental, and service teams to identify opportunities, develop customer relationships, and support the execution of regional growth plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Contributing to company growth by identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to drive revenue growth across both equipment sales and rental channels
Developing and maintaining strong relationships with existing and prospective customers, onboarding new customers, ensuring repeat business and building long-term partnerships via key account management strategies, plans and pursuit opportunities
Analysing market trends and customer feedback to recommend new products or services that
align with and develop the commercial strategy
Collaborating with engineering and production teams to develop tailored proposals and solutions for client requirements
Leading/advising on the preparation and submission of tenders, proposals, and quotations in line with company standards and customer expectations
Supporting pricing strategy development, including competitive benchmarking and margin optimisation
Working with marketing and communications teams to plan and execute targeted campaigns and promotional initiatives
Attending industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote the company and build the brand in new and existing markets
Mentoring junior team members to assist with career development and contributing to longer term team goals
Maintaining accurate records of business development activity using CRM and other reporting tools
Monitoring competitor activity and market conditions, and adapting plans accordingly to retain and grow market share
Contributing to strategic planning by identifying geographic or sector-based growth opportunities, including portfolio expansion, diversification and merger/acquisition target evaluation
Ensuring all activities are aligned with company compliance, safety, and ethical standards
Promoting and facilitating cross product line collaboration and identifying opportunities
Qualifications/Skills and Experience:
Essential:
Degree qualified or extensive experience in a similar role
Established industry network
Proven track record in sales and business development with significant growth
Proficient in spoken and written English
Full Driving Licence
Desirable:
Leadership and senior management experience, preferably with an international focus in a similar environment
Personal Qualities:
Excellent communication (both written and oral), influencing and interpersonal skills
High degree of commercial acumen and financial awareness
Ability to think strategically and creatively
Strong negotiation skills
Highly professional conduct
Ability to build trust and good working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Good understanding of operational delivery and client requirements
Must be willing to travel and able to spend time away from home
