To support the significant growth and development of HammerTech's presence in the UK, we are seeking the expertise and capability of a Business Development Representative to join our dynamic team.
What you'll do at HammerTech
An integral part of this small but mighty team, the BDR will work collaboratively with the Head of Sales UKIE to prospect strategic business accounts, drive sales growth and pipeline and build meaningful relationships with new and existing clients. This new BDR position will join our small, close-knit team in the UK but have the backing and support of a well-established global business with counterparts in Australia, New Zealand, the USA and Canada.
Responsibilities
Anticipate prospective client needs by researching industry to identify new leads
Act as first point of contact for new business prospects and determine the next steps for each prospect moving forward
Support the Head of Sales UKIE on outbound strategies and lead generating efforts
Monitor and attend meetings with prospects while handling the introductions and follow-ups
Establish active communication and engagement with prospects to create new leads and business development openings
Build relationships with existing customers through consistent follow up, reliable communication and frequent updates on product developments
Closely monitor existing HammerTech customers to identify opportunities for expanded use of the HammerTech product, and set up meetings to progress such expansion
Present product information to customers once needs are identified
Collaborate with other members of the team to ensure the company's goals and targets are met
Other duties to enhance business development as required

Our ideal candidate will bring the following:
Tertiary qualifications in sales, marketing, business, or a related field
Successful completion of coursework in business development techniques, marketing, and communication may be advantageous
Experience in SaaS business development in construction or related industry
Experience working with Salesforce/HubSpot or other CRM is preferred
Outstanding interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills
Excellent client services skills and the capacity to easily build rapport and establish relationships with prospects and clients
Outstanding listening skills and the capacity to probe and clarify to get a real sense of customer's needs
Capacity to work effectively as part of a high performing team
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage competing priorities and to meet strict deadlines
Demonstrated ability to meet weekly targets and key performance indicators
Proven initiative and a competitive drive
Strong resilience, perseverance, and an ability to overcome objections
