About the role:
No two days are the same for our Business Development Representative. You'll be proactive in reaching out to potential clients. You'll be making outbound calls, following up warm leads, and generating your own to identify and create new qualified opportunities for our sales team through your dedication and persistence.
What you'll be doing:
Quickly jumping on inbound enquiries from Marketing Lead Channels and turning them into exciting opportunities
Finding and connecting with the right decision makers in our target markets
Taking charge of outbound sales prospecting across all available channels
Making a fantastic first impression, nurturing warm prospects, and understanding their pain points and what drives their buying decisions
Repeatedly following up to keep Teletrac Navman top of mind throughout the buying cycle
Utilising sales & marketing platforms to maximise your effectiveness (Salesforce, 6Sense, and SalesLoft)
Staying active and consistently feeding the sales pipeline
Teaming up with our Training specialist and Product Development teams to keep growing your product know-how
About you:
You'll have full rights to work in the UK without the requirement of sponsorship now or in the future.
What will help you succeed in this role:
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or related field preferred
An understanding of sales, and hungry to be coached and learn more
Ability to connect with people, and to really listen, to identify the key needs and pain points of a prospect
Highly motivated and comfortable with high-volume outbound prospecting (up to 80 calls and 30 emails a day)
A resilient, can-do, and problem-solving attitude to deal with objections/rejections
Excellent communication, persuasion, and negotiation skills (verbal & written)
Ability to work independently & be a team player, and flourish in a fast-paced environment
Competent with Microsoft and the ability to learn new software packages (CRM software, sales engagement tools)
What would be highly desirable:
Successful B2B experience in inside sales, telemarketing, or a customer-centric role
Experience working with Salesforce.com, SalesLoft, 6Sense
Experience in a SaaS organization
