As a Business Development Sales Consultant at ProCompliance, you will play a crucial role in driving the company's revenue goals. You will be supplied with a large pool of high-quality data to generate leads for the business. Your primary job will be to generate leads for the business to close.
Responsibilities:
Generate Sales Leads
- Identify and reach out to potential customers through various channels such as cold calling, email campaigns, networking events, and referrals. High-quality data and inbound leads are provided to aid in lead generation.
Build and Maintain Relationships
- Cultivate strong relationships with new, prospective clients by understanding their needs, providing product information, offering solutions, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Your target will be linked with the number of leads generated for the business.
Provide Product Knowledge and Expertise
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, product knowledge, and competitor offerings to effectively position and differentiate our service in the market.
Collaborate with Internal Teams
- Work closely with all teams across the organisation, such as marketing, customer support, and product development, to align strategies, address prospect and customer needs, and ensure a seamless customer experience.
Sales Reporting and Analysis
- Maintain accurate sales records through the use of CRM. Forecast sales projections, manage lead pipelines, and provide regular updates to sales management regarding opportunities, challenges, and potential risks by correctly utilising the CRM.
Attend Sales Meetings and Training
- Positively participate in sales meetings, training sessions, and workshops to enhance product knowledge, sales techniques, and professional development across the team and the wider company.
Stay Customer-Focused
- Continuously provide excellent customer service by promptly addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and maintaining strong relationships with prospective clients.
Continuous Learning and Improvement
- Stay updated on industry best practices, sales methodologies, and emerging trends to enhance sales skills, techniques, and productivity continuously.
Qualifications and Skills:

A history of a customer facing environment.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Lead generation through telephone sales to generate a high number of prospective clients.
CRM sales administration to allow for accurate sales predictions and reporting.
