About the Role

We are looking for a driven and ambitious

Business Development & Sales Executive

to join our growing construction business. You will play a key role in identifying and securing new projects, developing strong client relationships, and supporting the company's continued growth in the building and contracting sector.

This role is ideal for someone who thrives on building networks, understands the construction industry, and has the commercial acumen to turn opportunities into long-term partnerships.

Key Responsibilities

Identify and pursue new business opportunities in the construction and contracting sector. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, architects, and consultants. Prepare and deliver compelling proposals, bids, and presentations to win projects. Negotiate contracts and agreements to secure profitable work. Support tender processes and work closely with the estimating and operations teams. Track industry trends, upcoming projects, and competitor activity to inform strategy. Attend networking events, site visits, and client meetings to expand business reach. Maintain accurate pipeline reports and sales activity using CRM or internal systems.
Requirements

Proven track record in business development or sales (construction or related industry experience highly desirable). Strong understanding of the construction project lifecycle and procurement processes. Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Commercially astute with a results-driven mindset. Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel to client meetings and sites.
