22,000 (3 days per week) on Fixed Term Contract | Part-Time (21 hrs per week)
Purpose of the Role
To connect directly with local businesses and colleges to improve skills provision across Mid & North Hampshire. You'll lead one-to-one employer engagement, organise key sector roundtables, and develop communications that encourage businesses to get involved in training and workforce development. You'll also work with colleges to help shape courses that meet real business needs.
Key Responsibilities
1.
Business Engagement (1:1):
Meet with employers to understand their skills needs and promote involvement in training, placements, and other initiatives.
2.
Sector Roundtables:
Plan and run focused meetings with businesses in priority sectors to gather insights and encourage collaboration.
3.
Communications & Campaigns:
Create and deliver messaging that inspires businesses to engage with skills programmes. Work with Chamber teams to amplify reach.
4.
College Collaboration:
Work with local colleges to share employer feedback and help shape relevant, responsive training provision.
5.
Tracking & Reporting:
Keep accurate records of engagement and produce short reports to share progress and insights.
