Safer Business Network is launching an exciting new Business Crime Reduction Partnership (BCRP) in Belfast, working in close collaboration with Belfast One, Linen Quarter and Cathedral Quarter BIDs. This role is your opportunity to be part of a groundbreaking initiative, directly supporting businesses across the heart of the city.

As a Business Engagement Representative, you'll be on the front line--visiting member businesses, listening to their concerns, offering support, and helping them play a key role in reducing crime and antisocial behaviour in the city centre.

What You'll Do

Build strong relationships with local businesses across the three BIDs. Support businesses in reporting and responding to incidents such as shoplifting, ASB, or organised crime. Train members to use our secure intelligence-sharing platform and mobile app. Gather intel on local crime trends and offenders, including collecting CCTV and witness reports. Promote partnership activity and success through social media and regular business communications. Represent the Belfast BCRP at BusinessWatch and PubWatch meetings.
What We're Looking For

Confident communicator and natural people-person. Self-motivated and able to work independently. Interest in community safety, policing or BID work is an advantage but not essential. Comfortable using digital platforms including email, spreadsheets, and social media. Capable of handling sensitive information with integrity.
