About this role:





Wells Fargo Corporate and Investment Bank is seeking a New Business Initiatives (NBI) Business Execution Consultant covering new products and product modifications.



In this role, you will:

Participate in a variety of assigned and ongoing business operations to ensure success in meeting business goals and objectives Identify opportunities for process improvement by conducting root cause testing of all compliance and business metrics Determine areas of strength or Business Execution opportunity within defined scope of work Review and research strategies and action plans to establish effective processes while meeting performance metrics and policy expectations Utilize independent judgment to guide moderate risk deliverables Present recommendations to develop, implement, and monitor strategic approaches, effectiveness of support function, and business performance improvement opportunities for managing risks of the business Exercise independent judgment and provide guidance in diverse support functions and operations for a single business group within a line of business Collaborate and consult with leaders and executive management Provide work direction to less experienced Strategy and Execution staff

Required Qualifications:

Experience in Business Execution, Implementation, or Strategic Planning, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education

Desired Qualifications:

Role requires knowledge of institutional broker/dealer trading practices across an array of products including, but not limited to, foreign exchange, fixed income, equities, and derivatives as well investment banking and Commercial Real Estate activities. Must have the ability to understand a broad set of capital markets businesses, market dynamics, and issues impacting a complex set of business and risk management activities Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple initiatives simultaneously, effectively resolving issues and conflicts as they arise Ability to understand and operationalize and care for complex international product governance requirements. Develop, implement and oversee governance routines for new and modified products, management reporting and New Business Committee Ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders in EMEA & APAC across multiple functional areas (business, technology, risk, etc.) Use problem solving skills to develop custom approaches and solutions and keep the NBI progress Ability to make timely and independent judgment decisions while working in a fast-paced and results-driven environment with multiple stakeholder groups Highly organized and detail-oriented Strong analytical, quality management, presentation and organization skills Capital Markets experience High level of knowledge of Sales & Trading, Capital Markets and Investment Banking New Business Initiatives Experience in the EMEA Region Experience of "C" level communication

Job Expectations:





This position is in the Corporate & Investment Banking Front-line New Business Initiatives (NBI) Governance Team and will lead multiple NBIs and product modification risk reviews. This role is responsible for the design, implementation and delivery of the CIB New Business Initiative process with focus on initiatives impacting EMEA and APAC. In addition, it owns and manages the full end-to-end NBI risk assessment lifecycle the is responsible for incorporating the international requirements into the process design.
