As Business Support & Finance Administrator, you will provide vital finance and organisational administration, as well as business development support to the senior leadership team.
You'll help ensure financial accuracy, strong internal systems, and efficient delivery of our business and community objectives. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working across multiple functions, combining finance administration, organisational coordination, and communications support in a friendly and purpose-driven environment.
Responsibilities:
Administration & Organisational Support
Provide general administrative support, including correspondence, filing, and reception duties.
Support the senior leadership team with scheduling, logistics, and documentation.
Manage diaries, meeting arrangements, and organisational calendars.
Help ensure smooth day-to-day operations and effective internal communication, to include preparing newsletters, reports, minutes and organisational updates.
Finance Administration
Process income, invoices, and payments in line with financial procedures.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records.
Manage petty cash, staff expenses, and banking duties.
Support invoicing, credit control, and budget monitoring.
Assist in preparing financial reports and ensuring compliance with financial policies.
Business Development Support
Provide high-level administrative and coordination support to the senior leadership team.
Maintain accurate data in spreadsheets and databases inlcuding stakeholder and contact databases.
Support business planning, internal reporting, and compliance monitoring.
Assist with evaluation processes and produce summary reports.
Prepare professional presentations and materials for staff, funders, and stakeholders.
Support the delivery of the corporate volunteer programme and business partnerships.
Events, Training & Administration
Support the planning and coordination of business development events, training sessions, and workshops.
Manage bookings, delegate communications, and event logistics.
Maintain accurate attendance and feedback records.
Support follow-up communication and post-event reporting.
Communications & Promotion
Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, providing a friendly, timely, and professional response.
Support the promotion of services, activities, and events.
Posting social media content and responding to comments and messages.
Assist with corporate communications, stewardship, and stakeholder updates.
Contribute to raising awareness of the organisation's impact across the community.
General Support
Support colleagues to ensure the office runs efficiently and professionally.
Represent the organisation positively at all times
Understand and adhere to all policies and procedures
Maintain personal and professional development at all times
Undertake appropriate training as required
Undertake such other duties, training and/or hours of work as may be reasonably required, and which are consistent with the general level of responsibility of this role.
