Job Description


The Business Intelligence Analyst will deliver business insight and decision-making capabilities through the effective design, delivery and administration of BI/associated reporting solutions in dashboard, report and raw data formats. Accuracy and consistency of data provision is fundamental. This role will initially be working within a small team, with the opportunity to develop and grow within the role and organisation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with internal and external stakeholders to identify areas of the business that could benefit from analysis
  • Publishing reports and dashboards in a timely manner to all levels of the organisation
  • Reviewing data collection processes and assessing the validity of the information stored
  • Supporting and carrying out appropriate peer review and quality control of solutions against these standards
  • Develop and manage solutions on the Microsoft platform, using TSQL, SSIS, SSRS, Power query, PowerBi, Excel and SQL Server
  • Management and ongoing continuous improvement of an existing and new portfolio of standard reports, dashboards and business intelligence solutions

Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in a similar data insight/reporting/business intelligence role
  • Proficiency with MS, TSQL, SSRS and Excel
  • Experience of using Power BI, Power Query and VBA
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Highly motivated with a curiosity to understand business process to identify issues and create solutions
  • Critical thinking and analytical mindset to problem solving
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
