The BLM for CTS is critical to achieving our targeted growth within the Compressor Technique Service Division. This is a senior role within the Customer Center, reporting to the General Manager, and requires a highly professional and collaborative approach to both divisional and cross-company goals with a deep understanding of sales growth and operational efficiency.



The position will be responsible for:


Improve Business Results / Drive Customer Success




Responsible for development of the CTS P&L in the UK & Ireland, achieve profitable growth targets with high focus on consolidated profitability for the CTS business in the UK & Ireland by working closely with Customer center team. Lead the sales & marketing focus for CTS and develop sales channels, direct and indirect, always considering the mix of products best suited for the local market, the brand portfolio brand strategy, with a strong focus on overall market share, profitability and cost efficiency targets of the business line Lead and develop the CTS operational functions including Field Operations, Planning/Contract Admin, Technical Support Team and Business Intelligence. Maximize cash-flow by close control of WIP, inventory, receivables, and payables. Prioritise customer satisfaction, focus on retaining all customers through direct interaction as needed and prompt attention to feedback through NPS system. Grow service revenue and profitability by consistently achieving high levels of customer satisfaction and by recognising opportunities to develop and promote all aspects of Services and Spares capabilities to meet evolving customer needs, managing and reducing costs effectively, and ensuring commercial controls for service are in place. Actively contribute to the development of systems, sales tools and training to achieve a competitive advantage. Following the Brand Portfolio brand strategy, develop and promote effective policies for aftermarket products and services that will improve our recognition, market share and profitability. Monitor the development of a defined set of KPIs and scorecards, resulting in corrective/preventive actions (i.e., profitability, growth, forecasting, territory action plans, CRM, etc.) Work with the BC teams to follow trade compliance and credit control requirements as needed, developing channel with a proactive/teamwork approach.

Focused on development of the team, ensuring high engagement scores prioritise training and competence development of personnel, including yearly appraisals and documented follow-up. Following the Brand Portfolio brand strategy, develop effective marketing strategies working in collaboration with the GBM Marketing team. Focused on demand generation, and return on investment. As needed, to provide content to support communication activities around about the products and services, which can be used for digital marketing, media relations and campaigns.

Experience requirements





Result-oriented and experienced professional with proven track record in sales and marketing of industrial equipment and/or services through both direct and distributor channels, with people management experience.


Knowledge





Keen interest and hands on user experience with IT systems, knowledge of CTS products, services and systems would be a distinct advantage.



General understanding of CTS scorecards and financials.


Educational requirements





University degree - Technically and/or commercially oriented - or similar through extensive experience


Personality requirements






Dynamic performer with strong entrepreneurial and leadership skills.



Willing to travel regularly.

Approachable personality with excellent commercial, diplomatic and negotiating skill.


Able to manage people and create a supportive and empowering work environment.
