Join us as a Business Manager at Barclays where you will help shape the future of our Retail Banking - Current Accounts & Payments business. You will be responsible for providing end-to-end business management support to the business and leadership team, with a particular focus on hiring, internal communications and event planning , while also supporting other strategic deliveries within the Business Management team. Key duties will include handling Workday-related processes, writing internal communications, coordinating team events and town halls and ensuring compliance with key controls. The position requires considerable organizational skills, attention to detail, as well as the ability to build effective networks and problem solve.
To be successful as a Business Manager, you should have:
Experience in managing hiring processes and supporting talent across teams.
Proven experience in writing clear and impactful communications, including management updates.
Demonstrated ability to plan and manage internal events such as senior leadership offsites and all-colleague town halls.
Considerable strategic thinking skills with the ability to articulate and communicate strategy effectively.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and approach to problem-solving.
Ability to build and maintain considerable networks across multiple teams and stakeholders.

This role can be based in London, Northampton, Manchester or Glasgow.
