We're on the hunt for an experienced Business Manager, Medical Oncology (m/w/d) who will work in the Life Sciences and Data Partnerships function of the Business Line Oncology Software Solutions A successful candidate will be responsible for driving the uptake of medical oncology sites through proactive and independent lead generation and joint engagement with Elekta's life sciences partners, supporting Life Sciences companies' global and local teams to enable successful introduction of Elekta's solutions to medical oncology sites, and to support life sciences and data partnerships team in driving new clinic sales.

What you'll do at Elekta




The Business Manager, Medical Oncology (m/w/d) responsibilities include (but are not limited to):


Customer facing responsibilities:

Conducts medical oncology sales in European markets Works with global and local affiliates of pharmaceutical companies to identify strategic opportunities on a regional, national or account level, and through that helping to accelerate the adoption of Elekta's SW solutions (e.g. Kaiku) at medical oncology sites Responsible for end-to-end sales from identifying a leads (alone and together with pharmaceutical companies) to closing a deal (e.g. introducing Kaiku to new customers, answering customers' questions, drafting and negotiating contracts) Interacts with life sciences partners, follows up on their leads, and supports them with their internal sales-related training programs

Internally facing responsibilities:

Shares order updates with the Kaiku life sciences and data teams about Medical Oncology site engagement Participates in different activities to develop pharma site engagement and pharma sales Continuously improves internal processes and outputs to support Kaiku sales Keeps the organization up to date on ongoing and upcoming strategic opportunities with pharma partners

This is a customer-facing role, which includes travel when needed, likely 50% of time.

What you'll bring



Education in business, economics, technology or a similar field (e.g. a degree from a university or a university of applied sciences) 5+ years of demonstrable track record in sales or business development of cloud-based software Excellent communication and negotiation skills Excellent command of basic office software Good project management skills
