Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced and hands-on Business Manager to oversee and drive the performance of our established family business. Ideally you will have previously worked with a small independent group of health retailers (Optical, Veterinary, Pharmacy etc)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient daily operations, driving productivity, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

- Supporting Management structure to achieve current goals and increasing group turnover.

- Oversee daily operations to ensure efficiency in all processes.

- Manage and mentor team members, fostering a positive work environment.

- Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance productivity and reduce costs.

- Assist management with training requirements on a branch-by-branch basis

- Encourage growth of group satisfaction ratings and Google reviews

- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, GOC guidelines and company policies.

- Assist director with HR processes and changes as required

Qualifications

- Proven experience as an Operations, Area or Business Manager or similar role in a relevant industry, but not large corporate.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities.

This role includes a performance-based commission structure
