Job Description

We are working with an Appointed Representative of St. James's Place Wealth Management who are looking to take on a new Business Manager at their London office. You will become a core part of the business, building strong external relationships and supporting advisers. Our client offers great benefits including hybrid working and a competitive salary.
Responsibilities:

  • Manage and drive cases on the go
  • Chasing clients on outstanding docs / confirmation happy to proceed
  • Manage Final Salary cases through / non transfer proposals
  • Manage withdrawals / encashments
  • Manage any drawdown cases
  • Deal with client queries where able
  • Ensure all clients have their annual review meetings booked with a view to provide outstanding service and protect ongoing advice charges
  • Manage Turnover - business issued correctly
  • Update Business Tracker and track business issued
  • Supporting on paraplanning where necessary
  • Undertaking analysis of investment transfers via FE Analytics and preparing transfer proposals
  • Running Cash Flow models via Voyant to support review meetings or transfers
  • Supporting in preparation of review documentation
  • Business Development & Marketing projects surrounding existing or prospective clients
  • Analysis of source of issued business to refine business development strategy
  • Analysis of Costs
  • Support the Operations Manager and the T&D Manager where needed
Experience & Requirements
  • Relevant experience in Wealth Management or regulated Financial Services
  • Candidates with SJP related experience would be of particular interest
  • At least 2 CII RO exams
  • High level of attention to detail & excellent organisation skills
  • High standard of written & verbal communication skills
  • Highly IT literate, including advanced MS Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint and Word skill
  • Keeps calm when faced with conflicting demands and handles these effectively
  • Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrating a professional, proactive and positive attitude
  • Ability to work autonomously as well as working on shared goals as part of a team
  • Manages time effectively with the ability to multi-task
