The Opportunity:





The Business Services Accountant is a key role in the global Financial Management team, based in Glasgow.



Reporting into the Global Finance Manager, the purpose of the role is driving financial service delivery, partnering with business services, and taking responsibility for a range of financial and management accounting outputs.



Key responsibilities of the role include:


Profit and loss review for service groups. Provide finance business partnering support and advice to a range of stakeholders across Business Services. Assist with month-end close in line with the monthly timetable. Maintain the Fixed Asset Register and post additions, disposals, depreciation, etc. Review and post accruals and prepayments for service groups Support the annual budget process in addition to ongoing forecasting and business planning


This is a full-time, permanent role based in our Glasgow office, with hybrid working.

About you:





The successful candidate will have:


Experience in financial and management accounting, including month-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis. Professional accounting qualification (e.g., ICAS, ACCA, ICAEW or equivalent) or part qualified/qualified by experience. Comprehensive understanding of financial service delivery and business partnering within a global context Experience providing technical expertise and advice in financial management. Strong written and verbal communication skills with stakeholders at all levels
