Tradewind are recruiting! Are you a qualified teacher of Business Studies looking for a new role for January 2024 in east Manchester?

Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a talented Business teacher to join an Ofsted Outstanding secondary academy.

This a full-time long-term supply teacher role from January 2024 to April 2024 initially, potentially becoming a permanent role after the easter holidays.

The Role

Teacher of Business studies to GCSE

Five days a week.

Positive confident classroom management skills with a focus on Assessment for Learning.

Innovative teacher able to add to set work with their own subject knowledge and enthusiasm for business and economics and mathematics.

Ability to also teach maths or computer science in key stage 3 or to GCSE is desirable.

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers or experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching to students aged 11 to 18.

To join us and be successful in this Business studies teacher role, you will need to:

• Hold QTS Status or QTLS
• This position is subject to an Enhanced DBS Disclosure, Overseas Police Clearances (if applicable) and professional references checks.
• Provide a CV with a full employment/education history included and any employment breaks must be explained.
• Have the legal right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
• Experience of working in an Ofsted Outstanding school would be beneficial.
