The North Devon Adult Community Mental Health Team is seeking to recruit an enthusiastic, flexible and multi-skilled administrator to join its busy administration team
.
The Team support Mental Health Services across three sites in North Devon (Abbotsvale in Bideford, and two Health and Wellbeing Clinic sites in Barnstaple, one in Pilton and one at the North Devon District Hospital). It will be essential for the post holder to be able to travel across these three sites at short notice. You will be asked at application and interview stage to demonstrate how you meet this criteria.
Main duties of the job
The post holder will undertake administration of all office tasks in supporting the Community teams as well as covering the reception at all three sites when required.
Main tasks will include meeting and greeting patients when covering reception, answering calls, when you will often be the first port of call; working from shared email inboxes, keeping Excel spreadsheets updated, generating letters and reports, uploading these onto our patient record system. There will be a requirement to prepare agendas for meetings and take minutes. Training will be given to support you in your development within this role. You will require excellent communication, IT and organisational skills, be able to remain calm and professional during busy times or when handling difficult situations, and have the ability to adapt to constant changes within the NHS.

RSA 3 Word Processing or equivalent level of experience in practice.
