What we're looking for from you...



We are seeking a proactive Business Support Administrator to provide high-level administrative and account management support across our Destination Coventry team. The ideal candidate will be highly organised with strong communication and customer service skills, bringing a commercial mindset and a keen eye for detail.

This role plays a key part in managing our partner accounts, supporting retention and recruitment efforts, and maintaining accurate systems and processes. The Business Support Administrator will ensure efficient internal operations while delivering excellent service to Destination Coventry's partner network.

The successful candidate will be confident working across CRM systems, coordinating web and admin tasks, and supporting wider marketing and event activity. A natural problem solver and team player, they will contribute to the smooth delivery of business operations and partner engagement across the business.

Main duties and responsibilities



Provide high-quality administrative support across the Destination Coventry team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of business operations.

Act as a key point of contact for partner communications, supporting retention through regular phone, email and in-person engagement.

Maintain accurate partner records and CRM data, including updates to partner listings and website content.

Carry out website updates as required via Document and Content Management Systems.

Monitor and support the Destination Coventry partner retention process, ensuring timely renewals, effective communication, and achievement of retention targets.

Assist in the recruitment of new partners through telesales and follow-up activity.

Provide administrative and coordination support for partner events and marketing campaigns.

Support the Managing Director and wider team with reporting on partner retention, recruitment, and account activity.

Carry out credit control duties related to partner accounts, in collaboration with the finance team.

Support wider Destination Coventry projects as required, including events, marketing and team operations.

Represent Destination Coventry at external events, contribute to sales meetings/account review meetings, and provide customer feedback to improve services.

Maintain accurate CRM records, manage accounts to maximise sales opportunities, and complete necessary sales administration.

Ensure all business support tasks are completed efficiently, professionally, and in line with organisational priorities

Person Specification:



Proven experience in a business administration, account management or customer service role.

Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.

Confident communicator with strong written and verbal communication skills.

Comfortable engaging with external stakeholders via phone, email and in person.

Experience using CRM systems and digital tools (experience with DocuSign is desirable).

Self-motivated, reliable, and capable of working independently or as part of a team.

Commercial awareness and an understanding of retention and client support strategies.

Flexible and adaptable, with a positive attitude towards teamwork and supporting wider organisational goals.

Full Drivers Licence

Ability to travel to represent Coventry at key trade shows and business events.
