Scottish Engineering are a member's organisation who represent and support the engineering and manufacturing sector in Scotland. We are based in Central Glasgow, close to both main train stations.

We have an exciting opportunity to join our Business Support Team, based from our office in Glasgow, with flexibility to work remotely at times too. The role reports to our Operations & Events Manager and will support the Scottish Engineering team and member companies.

In terms of what we are looking for, ideally you will have had previous experience in a business support role and be comfortable communicating externally and internally through the usual phone and email channels. Confident IT and administrative skills plus a willingness to self-learn are a requirement, and as a team we pride ourselves on being flexible to ensure what needs done gets done and seek the same attitude in our new colleague.

Role & Responsibilities



Providing admin support to our Chief Executive, Member Companies, Legal & HR Team, Health and Safety Team and our Project Officers as and when required. Diary management for senior members of staff Answering member telephone calls and directing to relevant team members Managing room bookings for Members in our meeting rooms Assisting with Networking Events for Members
