Now, we're looking for a Business Support Assistant to play a vital role in keeping our financial and business operations running smoothly. If you're a detail-oriented administrator with financial experience and you thrive in a supportive, forward-thinking environment, we want to hear from you.
The Role
As part of our close-knit team, you'll work closely with our Business Manager and Operations and Finance Manager to support essential business functions, with a focus on finance administration. Your key duties will include:

  • Inputting financial data, managing client/supplier details, staff expenses, and costs via Workflowmax and Xero
  • Assisting with raising invoices, purchase orders, and supporting credit control
  • Managing supplier/subcontractor information and supporting fixed asset tracking
  • Producing financial data reports for our Leadership Team
  • Supporting compliance with internal systems (ISO standards), office management tasks, and liaising with building services
This is a varied role that will allow you to develop your finance and administration skills while contributing to the smooth operation of a mission-driven business.
What You Bring
We're looking for someone who is:
  • Proactive, organised, and keen to go the extra mile
  • Detail-focused with strong numeracy and analytical skills
  • Experienced in using Xero (or similar finance software) and ideally Workflowmax
  • Skilled in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and confident with data handling
  • A strong communicator with experience managing sensitive information
Preferred but not essential:
  • Experience working to ISO 9001 / ISO 14001 standards
  • An interest in developing skills in areas like compliance, marketing, or technical support
