Our client, a highly regarded wealth management firm, is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Business Support Associate to join their Glasgow office on a permanent basis. This opportunity is ideal for recent graduates or individuals with up to one year of administrative or office experience who are eager to develop their career within financial services.
Essential Skills/Experience:

  • Proactive and able to prompt - using initiative and anticipating requirements
  • A positive attitude, with the ability to adapt quickly to changing demands while maintaining an organised approach to tasks
  • System skills and agility; effective in all MS Office applications
  • Professional manner and appearance, with confidence to interact with clients and colleagues
  • Analytical with the ability to problem solve
  • Skilled oral and written communicator
  • Collaborative and a strong team player
  • Ability to stay driven and focused with good attention to detail
  • Hard working with a strong desire to learn about the business and the wider financial services sector
Core Responsibilities:
  • Working collaboratively in a dynamic team environment, supporting advisers across a broad spectrum of financial issues including investment, pensions and protection
  • Managing the client review process; driving and preparing agendas
  • Key client contact
  • Drafting client communications including some sustainability reports
  • Collating and presenting client information, liaising with colleagues, providing updates
  • Managing post meeting actions
  • First point of contact to meet and greet clients and external guests
  • Management of meeting room diaries, including liaising with Edinburgh based colleagues
  • Technical support and analysis
  • Organising the adviser diary
  • Provide cover in areas such as reception, mail and scanning
  • To provide holiday cover as the first point of contact to meet and greet clients and external guests, and preparation of client refreshments
