Residences, Sport, and Community Services are recruiting a Business Support and Continuous Improvement Co-ordinator to support in the organisation of customer services, health and safety, student/staff feedback, and system projects to ensure a positive social and academic student experience.

Residences manage a diverse portfolio of properties and offer accommodation to c.6,500 students per year. Sport and the Early Years Centre sit within the same division with the University recently committing to investing over \xc2\xa340 million in sport facilities. Similarly, our Early Years Centre recently received investment, aiding the centre to continue its mission to achieve the Curiosity Approach.

The role requires working in partnership across the RSCS division by contributing to strategic projects that directly improve student experience.

Main responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate the delivery of customer service excellence and service projects for the division
  • Develop use of system automation and process design, and reporting with the Business and Continuous Improvement Lead
  • Completion of effective communication and record keeping across the division
  • Support with the delivery of staff engagement projects within RSCS and the wider directorate
  • Completion of regular market research to support and enhance our development
  • Support in championing continuous improvement across our division
Working with multiple teams to support in the delivery of successful outcomes, you will be confident with Microsoft Project (or equivalent) and creating MS SharePoint sites.

Some weekend working will be required through the year to cover peak arrival and departure periods, support with open day events, and support on project implementation to 24/7 teams.
