What You'll do (the role)



The role will be responsible for providing essential supporting the business by managing a range of administrative, clerical, and logistical responsibilities, ensuring the seamless day-to-day operation of the teams. Additionally, assist the senior leadership team with diary management, travel arrangements, and various administrative tasks as needed.





Please be aware that this position will be for a 12 Month Fixed Term period covering Maternity leave. The preferred candidate will ideally be able to start before the end of August 2025.





Duties and Responsibilities




Diary management for the Leadership Team - assessing competing priorities and anticipating requirements; filtering and prioritising. Coordinating and setting up meetings and appointments for the Leadership team- coordinating all logistics i.e., attendees, visitors, timings, equipment, IT and meeting rooms Booking and arranging travel, transport and accommodation for the Senior Leadership team Compiling and submitting expenses for the leadership team. Assisting with the organisation of internal and external events and conferences Working collaboratively with all Business Support roles to ensure that Teams function without issues and that workload is shared when needed. Assisting with the induction and onboarding for new starters and working closely with HR when arranging interviews and managing expenses for candidates Helping to cover reception as and when required. Arranging couriers and managing DocuSign for confidential documents. Providing administrative support to the team (e.g. helping to compile reports) In addition, you will be required to perform other supportive duties as and when required Office based role with some flexibility to work from home



Who we're looking for







Knowledge




Office environment and working in a similar environment Knowledge of the solar or renewable energy industry would be an advantage but not essential




Qualifications




Minimum of GCSE Qualifications Degree or admin / PA qualification desirable but not essential




Experience




Accuracy, speed, proactivity, and an ability to 'get things done' are vital An ability to prioritise is key as the ability to manage a broad range of tasks Ability to demonstrate attention to detail Experience of working with a wide range of people Supervision of couriers for confidential documents and papers Solid IT Skills are required, particularly Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (experience of expense and document management systems an advantage) Ability to deal with heavy workload Diary and International travel experience Demonstrable experience in a similar team assistant support position
