We're looking for a highly organised and proactive
Business Support Manager
to join our small friendly team. In this role, you'll be the backbone of our team, ensuring the smooth running of day-to-day business activities while supporting our members.
What you'll do
Be the first point of contact for our members, suppliers, contractors, and stakeholders, developing strong and reliable relationships.
Manage the end-to-end support of our member training programme, managing bookings, arranging venues and providing resources for the trainers in good time.
Oversee and improve day-to-day business operations, ensuring efficiency and consistency.
Develop, implement, and maintain processes, policies, and documentation to support our services to members.
Ensure our information to members through our knowledge base is up to date and easy to access.
Ensure we have up to date data in relation to our membership that is compliant with data protection requirements.
Identify initiatives to improve efficiency, streamline workflows, and keep the business running at its best.
Organise company events, meetings, and activities that bring people together.
Manage relationships with suppliers, exhibitors, and service providers to ensure value and reliability.
Monitor budgets, expenses, and operational performance, identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Support the Chief Executive with reporting, data analysis, and business insights to guide decision-making.
What we're looking for
Proven experience in office management and business support.
Excellent organisational and multitasking skills with great attention to detail.
Analytical mindset with the ability to spot inefficiencies and implement practical solutions.
Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
Tech-savvy and confident with tools like Office 365, Xero and CMS Systems. Knowledge of Zendesk would be an advantage.
Someone who takes pride in being the "go-to" person who keeps everything on track.
