In partnership with our clients, Digi2al is solving difficult government, societal and environmental problems using people and technology to deliver meaningful change, helping people to learn, work and live better with a focus on the Defence and Security sector.



Our successful business is expanding and we're looking to fill an important role within the HQ Operations team.



As a business support team member you will be central to the operation of the business. You'll be responsible for the processes that keep the day-to-day operations running smoothly, including:


Work with others in the team to enable rapid recruitment of high quality people. This includes driving the process of sifting, scheduling of interviews and coordinating feedback. Support onboarding activities and processes to enable the people to start project work ensuring compliance with security and policy. Support the operation of the business through effective data and information management. Identify process improvements and implement changes. This is not an exhaustive list, working as part of a small team means you may be required to step in and support other projects

We are looking for someone who loves to work as part of a tight knit team. The right person will bring bags of energy and drive to the team, working collaboratively to deliver business objectives.



We would expect the right individual to enjoy wrangling processes and have a strong desire to implement improvements to optimise systems.



We are looking for someone with the following:

Must haves




Excellent organisational skills.

Experience coordinating, planning and scheduling others using a variety of software and confident prioritising tasks to hit deadlines.

Strong Communicator.

Comfortable and proven ability to communicate across all levels from the apprentices to the company Chair. Speaks openly, honestly and with clarity. Empathetic but also able to deal with difficult people

Learning mindset.

No one knows everything, but someone with a learning mindset can develop new skills. In our business the ability to take on new challenges is a key skill and fundamental in business support. As our business evolves we will also need to ? Ability to work iteratively and with flexibility.



Nice to haves




Experience of digital service / process improvement. We are always working to make our processes leaner by simplifying or automating. We are looking for someone experienced in understanding processes, identifying opportunities for improvements, planning and implementing changes. Awareness of data management and information processing. We use data to understand operating performance and will be an area where the successful candidate will develop experience and knowledge. Understanding of confidentiality. Handling information appropriately is important. Any experience of GDPR and controls would be of value. Experience managing corporate social media accounts. Experience of working in classified environments.

This role sits within a small team covering all aspects of business support and operations. It's a fast paced role with lots going on and lots to juggle. The ability/willingness to muck in and help out others is essential.


Working patterns & salary





We are looking to hire a permanent team member who can work full time as part of the operations team delivering business support capacity.


Guide Salary - 35,000 per annum Bonus - up to 5% of base salary Pension - 5% matched Holiday - 25 days a year, increasing each year up to 30 days Private Health Care Employee Ownership Trust membership
Full time but we may consider 4 days per week for the right candidate





UK based only. Hybrid role but must be willing to travel to London on a regular basis and Portsmouth and other client sites occasionally




The successful candidate must be willing to go through Security Check (SC)
