Since 2016, we've focused on creating the conditions for local businesses to flourish through inspiring workspaces, practical support, and expert-led learning. We work closely with local councils, growth hubs, and enterprise partners to deliver inclusive, high-impact business support programmes.

The Role



We are looking for a Business Support Programme Coordinator to play a central role in delivering funded programmes that support SMEs, freelancers, start ups, and micro businesses across Sussex.

The position combines coordination, administration, communication, and participant engagement, with a strong focus on making sure programmes run smoothly and that participants feel well supported throughout.

This opportunity would suit someone who is organised, proactive, community minded, and enjoys working across a varied mix of projects.

What You'll Be Doing



Programme Operations & Administration

Coordinate programmes including Skills Bootcamps, workshops, mentoring schemes, and events Manage CRM records including registrations, attendance, eligibility documentation, surveys, and reporting Prepare programme materials such as attendance sheets, resource packs, and follow up documents Schedule sessions, manage calendars, book rooms, and liaise with trainers and venues Support on the day delivery including set up, sign in, surveys, and pack down Produce post programme reports and support monitoring and evaluation requirements
Marketing & Communications

Draft and schedule participant communications including updates, reminders, and recruitment messages Support marketing activity across newsletters, Mailchimp, Eventbrite, and social media Share programme highlights, successes, and participant stories on LinkedIn and other platforms Support communication with delivery partners, sponsors, and referral networks
Participant Engagement

Act as the main point of contact for participants and prospective applicants Respond to enquiries via email, phone, and online forms Support onboarding, eligibility checks, joining instructions, and attendance reminders Build positive relationships and ensure participants feel supported throughout their journey Gather feedback to support continuous improvement
Project & Team Support

Provide coordination and admin support for cross regional projects Support data collection for funders and internal reporting Help develop systems, processes, and templates to improve delivery efficiency Work collaboratively with colleagues, hubs, and external partners

About You



Highly organised with strong attention to detail Comfortable managing multiple tasks and deadlines at the same time Confident and approachable communicator, both written and verbal Customer focused, with a genuine interest in supporting local businesses A team player who takes ownership and uses initiative Comfortable spotting problems and helping find practical solutions Experience supporting or coordinating projects or programmes

Pay: 26,299.00 per year
