Business Systems Officer (Specialising HR & Finance System Support)

Full Time - 37 Hours per week

Scale 5 - 33,143 to 39,152 per annum

Are you the kind of person who proactively spots ways to improve processes and how systems can help to do this?

Are you inquisitive, and keen to understand how those processes work and how they could change?

Are you a good listener and communicator who can patiently work with colleagues to agree a better way?

If you are, then this new position might just be your next best move!

The primary database systems used by our HR and Finance teams are both at the beginning of a journey to significantly enhance their use and capabilities. These changes will bring efficiency and improvements to those services, but also to end users throughout the organisation.

We need a positive, enthusiastic and 'systems minded' person to join our Business Systems team to lead on the implementation of these enhancements. You will then continue to develop, support and maintain those systems on an ongoing basis.

You will work closely with colleagues in our HR and Finance teams, whilst also sharing your progress and ever-expanding knowledge with your fellow Business Systems Officers, who will have their focus on other key departmental systems but can provide support and back up to you if needed, with you doing likewise.

Experience of iTrent and eFinancials would be an advantage but is not essential. We would expect you to be able to demonstrate examples of how you have improved processes using software systems previously and your approach to working proactively and harmoniously with end users and system suppliers.

Another aspect of the role will be to help teams extract data from their systems to provide them with important insights that help decision making and reporting on performance and progress. Experience of doing this using software such as Microsoft Power BI would also be an advantage.

If this sounds like a role for you, then check out the details in the job description and person specification links. Good luck!
