This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual with outstanding ICT knowledge and experience, a flair for communication and the ability to support and encourage others in the appropriate and innovative use of ICT systems.

Working closely with the Locality Business Support Managers as well as corporate teams, you will be part of a dynamic team of eight BSSOs who will be involved in delivering solutions to customers and supporting projects around the county as and when required, as well as providing day to day proactive support and training to users.

An in-depth knowledge of desktop applications is required and you will have the opportunity to build solutions using SharePoint and the Microsoft Power Platform.

Excellent interpersonal skills are essential in order to effectively establish and maintain relationships with individuals and teams at all levels, plus the ability to deliver training through a variety of different methods and produce user guides if required. You should have good analytical and positive problem-solving skills and possess the ability to process re-engineer. You must also be willing to have involvement in the testing of new functionality and system developments from a user perspective.

You are required to be flexible, have the ability to work independently and able to work under pressure and effectively prioritise deadlines, whilst maintaining confidentiality.

Hybrid working is offered, with the post being notionally based at Sherwood Energy Village, New Ollerton. The post holder will be expected to travel to various locations across the county on occasion, providing support and cover as required. Own transport is therefore required for which business mileage rate is paid.
