To provide a full and comprehensive administrative support as a member of the Corporate Business Unit.
This will include organisation and co-ordination of meetings, creating and updating contact lists and meeting schedules, distributing agendas, action note/minute taking, administrative and disseminating information to a range of internal and external contacts.
The ability to follow a range of administrative and organisational policies and procedures and use of various IT packages (including but not limited to Admincontrol, Microsoft Office, ESR and TRAC) is required.
The post requires attention to detail, lengthy periods of concentration, with the ability to deal with unforeseen interruptions and fast changing priorities.
The post holder will work as part of a team within a busy office environment, primarily based at the NHS Wales Joint Commissioning Committee (NWJCC) offices, ensuring that the duties are undertaken efficiently and pleasantly, reporting any issues, concerns or progress to the Corporate Directorates Business Support Officer and Corporate Business Manager as required.
To undertake duties set by the Corporate Business Unit Team.
To provide associated clerical duties, and provide help and support to the organisation on administrative issues.
Main duties of the job

  • To attend regular one to one meetings with the Corporate Directorates Business Support Officer as required.
  • Be responsible for the delivery of secretarial and administrative services as required by the Corporate Directorates Business Support Officer and Corporate Business Manager.
  • Provide a professional reception service at the NWJCC Offices,
  • Be flexible and work as a team with peers in order to ensure administrative cover is provided within the Corporate Business Unit Team based across NWJCC.
  • Have up to date keyboard skills using IT packages, specialised Software, to include but not limited to Admin control, MS Word.
  • English and/or Welsh speakers are equally welcome to apply.
