About this Role


We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Business Support Officer to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our office environment by providing comprehensive administrative and clerical support. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving, enabling them to effectively manage various tasks while maintaining a high level of professionalism. The Ideal candidate should ideally be multilinguistic and have already worked with an agency which provides services to international students.

Duties


- Provide administrative support including data entry and clerical tasks.
- Manage office communications, including answering phone calls and responding to emails with excellent phone etiquette.
- Maintain organised filing systems, both physical and digital, to ensure easy access to information.
- Utilise Google Suite for document creation, scheduling, and collaboration with team members.
- Coordinate meetings and prepare necessary materials for presentations or discussions.
- Support the team in various projects by performing research and compiling reports as needed.
- Ensure the office environment remains tidy and organised, contributing to an efficient workplace.

Experience


- 2+ years of experience in working with international students especially from South Asian and Chinese.

- Fluent in English and any other South Asian and Chinese language.

- Have a good knowledge and experience of the UK education sector and the local markets trends.

- Proven track record of managing client relationships and delivering successful marketing campaigns

- Excellent communication, presentation, and customer services skill

- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritising multiple projects and deadlines

- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent typing skills with attention to detail for accurate data entry.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Familiarity with general office procedures and practices is advantageous.
