Carnbrooke is a family-owned business who currently operate a 2500 sq. ft Butchery & Food Hall retail business in Lisburn and Dromore Co Down. Due to continued growth, we are now seeking a dedicated and skilled butchers to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing high-quality meat and poultry products for retail and food service customers, ensuring food safety standards are maintained, and supporting the overall business operations. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for food production and butchery to develop their skills within a dynamic environment.
Use knives and other equipment to prepare and process meat products according to production specifications.
Ensure that meat products are cut and trimmed to the highest standards of quality and safety.
Keep work area clean and follow all safety regulations and procedures.
Meet production goals and work as a team to ensure timely completion of tasks.
Properly store and handle meat products to prevent waste and spoilage.
Continuously learn and improve knowledge of knife skills and meat processing techniques.

Requirements
Previous experience in food production is essential
Knowledge of food safety standards and hygiene practices
Experience in food preparation and butchery operation
Strong organisational skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
Passion for and commitment to quality standards
Ability to work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Some flexibility around working hours , although generally it is day shift, 5 days out of 6 , Monday to Saturday

Pay: 28,000.00-34,000.00 per year
