We are seeking a skilled and passionate Butcher to join our team. Duties
Prepare and cut various types of meat according to specifications, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the work area, adhering to food safety regulations at all times.
Operate and maintain butchery equipment safely and effectively.
Assist in inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of meat products for menu items.
Provide excellent customer service by answering queries related to meat cuts and preparation methods.
Skills
Strong knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.
Proficient in culinary techniques related to butchery, including cutting, trimming, and marinating meat.
Experience in food production within a kitchen or restaurant setting is highly desirable.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and customers.
