We're looking for an experienced and dedicated butcher to join our team.

Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in food production and culinary practices, whilst adhering to safe working practices. As our butcher your main responsibilities will include preparing high-quality meat products, setting up our counters and maintaining them throughout the day, breaking of primals, boning out, preparing wholesale & customer orders to spec, producing VAPs, and an all-round knowledge of back-shop butcher production skills.

We need someone who will be flexible and multi-disciplined. Other duties will include assisting colleagues, managing stock rotation, occasionally serving customers from behind the counter, and maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Essential Requirements

Qualified butcher, 3 years experience. You will be required to work on your own, and collaboratively as part of our team. Excellent health & safety awareness. Maintaining cleanliness and organisation of the production area. Handling customer requests. Hard-working & self-motivated. HACCP aware. Modern and forward-thinking towards butchery Must be reliable and punctual. Relevant health & hygiene qualifications. Driving license.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From 14.50 per hour

Expected hours: 38 - 45 per week
